Facebook groups are golden opportunities for people with specific questions to get recommendations from happy customers and business owners like you! That’s why it’s so exciting that Facebook groups for pages have finally been unveiled!
Reaching your target audiences just got that much easier. Read to see what’s new, why the change is important, and how you can capitalize on it.
How Facebook Groups For Pages Benefits Your Business
Earlier this year, Facebook made changes to its group settings, allowing business pages to post in groups they manage as their business page rather than their personal page.
Why Facebook Groups For Pages Are Important:
Posting to your Facebook group as your business page allows you to engage more with your target audience, answer questions and offer services for potential customers, and keep your personal profile out of the spotlight.
Posting as your company can generate more traffic to your business page. It can also help you build a positive reputation for your brand, simply because you’re more readily available to answer questions and make recommendations.
For example, say you’re a painting company and you see someone posting in your Facebook group looking for painting tips. By linking your business page to the group, you can use your page to give the user the advice they’re looking for. This lets you build a relationship with that person, AND build your brand!
How To Post To Groups From Your Business Page
1. Go to your business page and click settings.
2. Click “templates and tabs”.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the list of tabs and click “add a tab”.
4. Select “groups”.
5. Go to your business page and the “groups” tab should show up on the left side.
6. Click “groups” and click “link your group” or “create your group”.
7. When you post in your group, you can now click the drop-down menu in the top right corner to choose your posting persona. You can post as either your personal page or your business page.
Now you have all the tools necessary to start reaching out and engaging with more of your target market on your page’s facebook groups!
