Fuel Day 2025 – Recharging Through Food and Fun

Once a year, our big boss gives us what we call a Fuel Day — a day to do something that truly fuels us. It’s a chance to step away from the usual routine, slow down, and fill ourselves back up. This year, I decided to indulge in two of my favorite things: sushi and Legos.

Fueling My Body

I started my Fuel Day at Mikuni’s, one of my all-time favorite sushi spots. Usually, I keep my order pretty modest, but this time I decided to treat myself to everything I love — no holding back. I ordered a Japanese Old Fashion, Agedashi Tofu, Train Wreck, Avo-Kyu, and Pepperfin. Every bite reminded me why these dishes are my favorites. The balance of flavors, the freshness, the creativity — it all hit perfectly. Taking the time to just sit, enjoy great food, and not rush felt incredibly energizing.

Fueling My Mind

After my sushi feast, I made a stop at Target, where I finally picked up something I’ve had my eye on for a while: the Star Wars Millennium Falcon Lego. Building Legos has always been one of those relaxing activities that gets me in a creative flow. There’s something about focusing on the details, piece by piece, that clears my mind and recharges me.

Fully Recharged

By the end of the day, I felt full — not just from the sushi, but from the experience itself. Treating myself to good food and something I love to build reminded me how important it is to slow down and do things that genuinely bring joy.

That’s what Fuel Day is all about — finding what fills your tank so you can come back to Tytanium Ideas recharged, refreshed, and ready to take on whatever’s next.
